Dear Smerfs,

Happy Friday!

I was wondering if we had fixed a location and date for our next meeting? It seems to be lost to the mists of time and festive hangovers.

Who would like to volunteer to host and set up a poll for dates?

K

Before the extravaganza that was Science Inside Out in November, our October meeting was at the Wellcome Trust. We went to CRUK in August, BHF in May, Wellcome again in March, and the MRC in January (did I miss any out?). I know it’s easier for the bigger organisations to hold a meeting but it would be fun to go somewhere else, just for a change. Any takers? For a meeting this side of Easter…?

Best
Michael

We’re happy to do it but sounds like we’re avoiding the bigger orgs…

Given that we seem to be losing time and momentum, it might be best if you could offer to host at the BHF Ben, at least to get the ball rolling for this year.

Hi all,
I've checked and we can use the board room at SciDev.Net on Aldwych, however it is not available until April. Time will have to be 5:30pm.

I have made a Doodle poll with various April dates. Please fill it in.

Will book a pub once date is confirmed as well.

Thanks!
Shannon

Hello team,

Now I’ve emerged blinking into the light this is the post-science conference season, I’ve been going through all the emails I’ve been putting off since early March. Are we still SMeRFWIGging this month?

Cheers,

Ben
