Hi All,
If you know someone who is interested in taking their next step into science communications then they still have one day left to apply for the role of STFC Physics Science Communications Officer.
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is internationally recognised for the quality of the astronomy, particle physics, astroparticle physics and nuclear physics we fund and undertake, both directly and with our university partners – ranging from the first detection of gravitational waves to the discovery of the Higgs Boson and beyond.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced science communicator, preferably with experience in a PR role, to inspire and excite the wider world about our frontier science: particle and nuclear physics, space science, astronomy and cosmology, and with a particular focus on astroparticle physics.
This is a full time role and a two year fixed term contract and the salary is in the range £29900 - £31808

This role will be 50% allocated to promoting STFC’s frontier science and supporting technologies and 50% allocated to raising the profile of astroparticle physics across Europe.
