"Navy Yard Engine 1" and "Navy Yard Engine 2" (iirc) used to be on
33.74 - BFD would test with them every night at 7PM - just vaguely
remember this - maybe was not every night - maybe not at 7pm
for many years boston just tested with the fireboats every night at 7
pm - engine 31 and engine 47 - back in the early 1970s maybe
boston also tested with hanscom engine 11 at times iirc
probably they did a long test in early 1960s - maybe of all BFD units
- then they just did special units like military and mutual aid and
fire boats
wasnt brookline engine 1 and cambridge Engine 2 on 33.74 back in the
old days? maybe quincy engine 2 and milton engine 1 also
chelsea navy yard FD was engine 9 or engine 11 - they tested with
chelsea fd during the chelsea rollcall on 154.325 once or twice daily
- maybe they were on 33.74 also - maybe they responded to tobin bridge
calls also
