joint base fd had a call yesterday

around 3 pm - we need to pull the tape

joint base fd station1 (the only station btw) was sent to a 'medevac'
- some helo had hoisted a male 53 with chest pains from a wind farm
ship—and then they got diverted to joint base

not sure how the fd responded - maybe uscg amb 424 drove the patient
to falmouth hospital or boston or somewhere

338 pm et was the page per eDispatches

apparently the wind farms have a rescue helo staffed 24/7 at quonset
RI - not sure why uscg doesnt handle those calls - mighty strange

apparently it was a uscg helo that grabbed the victim

A4 + Car 3 + Eng 10 + Foam 5 / R 5 responded - helo was already at the
hangar before the FD and amb arrived

helo went into door 2 at the hangar

R5 / Foam 5 uses Door 13 at Fire HQ

A4 had the call before the fire dispatcher had the call - A4 probably
heard it over some uscg net

A4 apparently is also known as A1 - used to be A424
