Hey Folks

 

Hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the classes.

 

I came to Bangalore over the weekend for a few meetings and to attend my cousin’s wedding later this week. I must say, landing in Bangalore felt like homecoming, given that I lived here for over 4 years when I was working with IBM. The best part of being in Bangalore is the weather… this city is called the air conditioned city as temperature mostly remains between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. So I am enjoying sitting snuggled up in a light blanket while I type this mail. J

 

I am glad to see that some of you have started using the Google group to share presentations and your learning with each other. While I congratulate the ones who are contributing to the group, I would like to urge the other to not just be silent spectators, but also make an effort to contribute to this collaborative learning process.

 

Some of you have reached out to me to get copies of the presentations that I used in the class. To be honest, I have deliberately delayed sending those out, as the takeaways from my class are more focused on being reflective and experiential than the theory. I want you to derive the learning from the discussions we had in class as they apply to your life and not get caught into the slides of the ppt. I will be sending you a few slides as promised over the next few days.

 

As far as the exam on Friday is concerned, I understand your angst to study from the learning material used in class. Just want to put that anxiety to rest, as this exam for the portion that you studied in my sessions would not need any preparation. The only preparation you can do for this exam is relax and come with a clear mind which is ready to think and analyse.
