Guidance on Interfaces

I wonder if you can direct me to some additional information or provide some guidance wrt core interfaces.

I have looked at draft-shelby-core-interfaces-05 (which now seems to be obsolete) and the IPSO alliance draft-ipso-app-framework-04. 

Is there an emerging standard or some kind of consensus ?

Sadly, no, I can't help you there. SMCP was a hobby project for me and my work has me focused on other priorities.

I haven't investigated what is available in terms of publicly defined CoAP interfaces. It sounds like you've looked into it more than I have.

It's a shame I can't work on this stuff full time.

OK – thanks. I appreciate all the work that you’ve put into your ‘hobby’ !

 

I e-mailed the draft authors last week about the status of their efforts but haven’t received any response yet.

 

I’m using a query string to pass commands to one of the nodes, and I guess I was also wondering how those commands could be discovered.

 

I’m also trying to determine the best way to individually address one or more elements in a large bit array for both get and post…
