Kings Canyon Update

I called Sequoia to see what is up as reservations.gov says the campground will be closed Sep 15th. Reservation.gov is correct, but Jason who answered the phone said that Sheep Creek campground will be open until October something. Sheep Creek is next door to Sentinel.

Right now it looks like they are only taking reservations for Sheep Creek 30 days in advance.

The sites furthest from the road and closest to the Kings River look pretty good. Maybe 58, 62, or 64.

Thanks for the update, Marc. Glad to see there will be some availability in Kings Canyon for the fall campout.
