Kings Canyon in September?

A comment made around the camp fire on Saturday had me looking at Sequoia/Kings Canyon.
- Buckeye Flat in Sequoia is still closed from the flood damage done 3 or 4 years ago.
It will not be open in 2026.
- Reservations for Kings Canyon are not yet available for September. But... There is
a note saying that the season for Sentinel campground ends Sep 15! Dates after that
are marked with an X instead of NR (not yet reservable).
We may need to make different plans for a September campout. Will know more when reservations would normally open the end of next month.
I’ve Cambria ride pictures from some. I’ll wait a few days for anyone else to send pics before I put together a page on the event.
