motel in the Joshua Tree area?

After the NorCal BMW club Death Valley campout in March I'm planning to ride down to Joshua Tree and stay for a couple of days on the way to the SMBC Cambria Campout. 

Anyone have a motel recommendation in the Joshua Tree area?

The online reviews for Joshua Tree motels are all over, some people loving a place and other people hating the same place a week later.

I know that SMBC members are a very selective, experienced, upscale group in terms of No Tell Motel preferences, so whatya got?
