Argh... might be. I can't exactly remember. However, I have a backup mirror that should still have the old PW active, so I tried again. The result:
1.) Edit -> Preferences -> Authentication:
(I see PW's are stored, especially for the repos SmartSVN keeps asking).
2.) Press the button "Change Master Password":
3.) Upper radio button is active: "Change master password" (this dialog is a bit confusing though - the lower two text boxes apply for both selections, right?!)
4.) Set a new password.
5.) Dialog opened "The master password has been changed"
6.) Confirmed this and the preferences dialog with "OK"
7.) Exited SmartSVN with "Exit" (using the portable installation, btw, so nothing is left in memory and I don't use explorer integration).
8.) Start SmartSVN again
9.) opened project with 1..n working copies all referring to a single server with these kind of issues
10.) Being asked for a PW, entering the right one, having activated to store the PW
11.) being asled for the (new) master password
12.) Transaction window opens
13.) Ping-Pong between project and transaction windows asking for the password 10 times (probably because its 5 working copies, all being watched in the transactions)
Strangely, the password is set correctly with the asterix in the dialogs, so I only have to click "OK".
What else can I do to track this down? (I'll not reset the settings in case you need additional info for now...)
