SmartSprites does not read and does not override the original background-repeat property, so whatever background-repeat you specify, the browser should respect it. There is the sprite-alignment property in SmartSprites, but it governs the layout of images inside the sprite.

Hi, we came across a situation where the browser defaults to repeating the background image. Is there a no-repeat property to set for SmartSprite? Or does it just grab the background-repeat value from the original property list?

#logo { width: 50px; height: 50px; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top right; background-image: url('../img/mysprite.png'); background-position: right -17px; }
