Consultingwerk Plugin for OpenEdge Architect/Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge

Dear customer of the SmartComponent Library,

 

we’ve just released version 1.2.1 of the Consultingwerk Plugin. This plugin fixes an issue with OpenEdge 11.2 when creating a new Form using the Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge wizard for a new “SmartWindowForm”.

 

Since OpenEdge 11.2 Progress has added the following line

 

        THIS-OBJECT:ComponentsCollection:ADD(THIS-OBJECT:components).

 

to the constructor of Visual Designer Forms. This line was missing when creating a Form using the new “SmartWindowForm” wizard which is now fixed.

 

Customers on OpenEdge 11.2 should upgrate the Eclipse plugin using the “Help -> Install New Software” from the update site:

The plugin has been tested with OpenEdge 10.2B, OpenEdge 11.1, OpenEdge 11.2, 11.2.1, and the current beta of OpenEdge 11.3.
