How to Add AirPods to Find My iPhone

I recently lost my AirPods and I was so relieved to find that I could use the Find My iPhone app to locate them. I thought it would be helpful to share how to do this in case anyone else ever finds themselves in the same situation.

Here are the steps on how to add AirPods to Find My iPhone:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Find My” from the list of options.
4. Tap on “Find My [device type]” (e.g., Find My iPhone).
5. Tap on “Find My AirPods”.

If your AirPods are within Bluetooth range, they will show up on the map. If they are not within Bluetooth range, you will be able to see the last place they were connected. You can also play a sound to help you find them.
