They solve the issues with lost steps on my X and Y however, I am still trying to tune the Simple PID as I am still getting alot of ringing and it shows up on corners, curves and circles. So far my experience is that the PID is touchy and it seems to be more hit and miss. I run my X and Y steppers @ 24V and have totally eliminated lost steps, which I was mainly concerned about. I can run higher feed rates, but I want to be able to run the higher feed rates and not sacrifice print quality.

so I will keep trying. It is a good product and I believe with proper tuning they solve many problems with open loop setups.

Just my experience so far.
