Been working with the MKS42b and have been able to go tru cal and run the code 1 from Git Hub. Recently found the Git Hub site from Misfit and and followed the firmware set up. for the IDE. Looked like everything was already there but did it all again.. Got a little lost from there... . I'm using an Arduino Nano, DRV8825 with expansion board, the driver is removed and replaced with connector and cable to the MKS42b. Instructions said to hook up the usb cable to the smart stepper. One of mine has a USB port and the other doesn't. Anyway, hit the reset twice and got the led blinking. Nothing else hooked up, No power at this point. Not clear on what to do from here.
Basically want to just to run as closed loop and with sensor going to an analog port, an when it exceeds set threshold, program will turn the stepper to a predetermined degree. If I can get that accomplished I will be able to continue with project with an array for multiple positions.
I have made some projects and followed example with regular steppers. Still have much to learn.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
