Got a reply from trampas earlier. Benn tinkering with both. Not a knowledgeable in programming these boards. Mks has one 4954 driver and bigtree tec 2x 4950 which should be able to put more power to the stepper. Also one can set current to 3330ma on bigtree board. So i tried both mks and big tree on a hs8401. I strongly suspect that the pid is off by a mile. Is there anyway to have a program find the best values and then modify the program? One can find specs for hs8401. Maybe a table or is it trial and error?
