I'd like to use some of my latex snippets for typing latex code in an
orgmode buffer. Unfortunately, snippets seem to be mode
specific. Loading the latex-mode directory from an org buffer doesn't
work. I could move these snippets to text-mode but I'm looking for a
cleaner way. What would you suggest ?

Julien.

I think there was a .yas-parents file that allows you to copy snippet between the two.  One way is to make a shared directory tex-org-mode and make it a parent of tex-mode and org-mode.

Thanks that's what I was missing.
