Weekly Update - 2009-11-3

This week spend a lot of time really getting into the details of how
the application would function with my Lvl2 Design Diagram. I wanted
this digram to be very detailed and really follow the flow of both the
user and the application processes.

Below I have pasted a higher resolution copy of the Lvl2 Design
Diagram

I also spent some time working on the task list which is in the format
of a to do list. I start by creating a very basic but functioning
application. From there I go through enhancements to modify and add
new functionality. Once through the task list I will have a fully
functional application that is based around the basics.

In addition to this other time, I also spent time developing a chord
progression tree that can be referenced for the options the
application has to consider when moving through chord progressions.
The arrows are unidirectional and tell what chords are considered 'OK'
to follow another chord in the rules of music theory.

Another part of the project that was worked on this week was putting
together the oral presentation for presenting my design concept to the
rest of the class. It is good to be able to break down into slides
the complex concept that I am trying to demonstrate.
