(Ulrike, pls forward this to dnadigital. You maybe translate the
DNAdigital manifesto for publication in Smart People magazine

Thanks to Alice's statement from a previous post
"Demographics: some might think we are all <30 (unless they saw Boris'
workload)"
I want to rise this issue.
The focus of content of Smart People is personal Knowledge Management
with the support of social software (the "new" technologies)
The focus groups of Smart People are KMers who starve to get valued as
knowledge workers but also young digital natives who are tech-savvy
(or would like to learn how to be tech-savvy)
The latter group is not represented in the Smart People magazine
editorial board. Yes, we have great KMers, but (forgive me) they're
pretty old ones, however open minded to new challenges the new
technologies are demanding.
Therefore I would opt to get some real digital natives to the Smart
People editorial board or at least some popular, not that old,
representatives of the new movements.
I have some contacts to a German group of digital natives (http://
www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=46476050629), and could ask if anybody
is interested to become a Smart People editorial board member.
Further, one of the leaders of the group, Soeren Stammer, CoreMedia
(
http://www.facebook.com/sstamer?ref=mf), mentioned in Don Tapscott's
Smart People magazine article "Grown up digital: Fun, collaboration,
innovation“ (
http://www.smartpeoplemagazine.com/2009/04/grown-up-
digital-fun-collaboration-innovation/), would be a perfect supplement.
What would be the duties of the editorial board members, apart from
being on the editorial board, Jerry?
