I have an external launched practitioner launched application where I am launching with the scope:
 online_access openid profile offline_access launch/patient user/*.* patient/*.*

It is routing me to the EPIC EHR to login, but the only login account I can find is:

Username: fhirjason
Password: epicepic1

This appears to be a patient login? I need a provider login.  I want to be able to login to the portal as a provider and pick from a list of available patients, so Patient/*

Is that possible using the Open EPIC sandbox?

Thanks in advance,
MG

For provider facing I think you need to use the USCDI sandbox

Thanks, I started there but it didn't look right.  The documentation isn't really clear. I'll give that a try.

So I am trying to use the endpoint of:
And I am getting routed to the login, which says sign in with your epic account.   I tried my email/password combination that I used to login to the developer portal and it didn't work.  I also tried the fhirjson userid and password but neither worked.  What am I missing here?

Thank you, Andrew.   We are developing a standalone provider-facing application, in which we want to conduct some operations like pulling a list of patients.  We are able to create a patient-facing application and test it using the epic myChart authentication with the username "fhirjason" and password "epicepic1", but we could not use this account to log into the epic provider portal.  We are wondering if there are any test accounts for the epic provider portal?

Try using the launcher they provide

I’m my case we have an external web app that will not be launched by an ehr or launcher.

Try:

Username: USCDI
Password: epicuscdi

Hi All,

  I just created a site:

  , based on examples provided.

When I clicked "Provider Standalone Launch", I can login with 'USCDI/epicuscdi'. But after that, I was not able to get any data.

I checked the status, it showed "No state found, please relaunch the app". Does anyone know how to fix this?

I used FHIRCLIENT JS version. Thanks.

It might be because your launch and redirect URLs are on different origin. In this case they are not able to "understand each other" through sessionStorage.
