I'm trying to achieve a bulk data of patients by keeping Age/Gender as parameter. I have chosen this "Bulk Data Kick Off" API but in the URL template has {GroupID} what does this mean and following that there are filter options. But got stuck with this {GroupID} can anyone help me out.

For Reference the URL template is
api/FHIR/R4/Group/{GroupID}/$export?_type={resourceType}&includeAssociatedData=LatestProvenanceResources&_typeFilter={resource query strings}

Hello Aditya,

                Are you referring to the Epic Bulk Data kickoff? Epic needs to provide you a group ID for testing purposes with their sandbox. The Group ID represents a group of patients that is pre-defined in the EHR. I believe you can get this detail by emailing op...@epic.com. There is a group ID here but I’m not sure if that works.

Adding just a touch more context: as Scott said, the group ID refers to a group of patients that is pre-defined in the EHR.  If you're unfamiliar with the Group FHIR resource, you can find more information here. You can read more about the Group-level bulk export within the Bulk Data Access implementation guide, yhere. Finally, you can find more information on the Group-level export query parameters here. If you need help setting up a Group, you'll probably need to talk to someone managing your EHR sandbox environment.

Cheers,
- Dylan P.

Hi all! We are testing in Epic Open sandbox and we testing on Ambulatory test patients so what Group ID we can use as we don't have EHR details with us.
