hello,
new to SOF.
i just registered a standalone app on Cerner's developers Portal, and following this tutorial for standalone apps auth: http://docs.smarthealthit.org/authorization/
i have a few quick of questions:
1- What is the fhir base url that i should be using to start the auth process?
2- Any specific redirect uri i should use? i am currently using this one: http://localapp:8000/fhir-app/
3- i know that the launch one is optional and probably not needed for standalone apps, correct?

thanks in advance.

Hi Moe!

Cerner's sandbox documentation and URLs can be found here: https://fhir.cerner.com/millennium/dstu2/#service-root-url

The main requirement for a sandbox URL is that it actually is resolvable/can be contacted from your browser. If the URL above loads your app locally, that should work for the redirect URL.

You are correct that the launch URL is optional and wouldn't be needed for a standalone application.

You can post in our google group if you have any additional questions about Cerner's sandbox, tutorial, or documentation.

Regards,
Jenni

Hi Mark,
JavaScript. We are also experimenting with C#/Xamarin.
Do you have any advice for us please?

All of my work is done in C#. After weeks of playing with it I JUST this morning was able to finally retrieve a token in the sandbox environment. I've got a couple of days of cleaning things up before I can share anything.

If you're working in Java then take a look at this example: http://engineering.cerner.com/smart-on-fhir-tutorial/

Much of what is written is good code but it's not easy to follow for someone that's not familiar with Java.
