What's the goal for the BI Business Club for 2006 ?

Hi folks,
It is impressive to see that our membership has grown to just over 40
people in a very short time. What is amazing is the calibre of the
people, representing all sides of our trade.
I would like to see the BI Business Club grow further over the course
of 2006 on a Global scale. I encourage everyone to invite people within
your personal circle to join - it would be nice to see the "core"
expand to include many other insurance exec's around the Globe. Since
the Business Club is conceived to be a completely voluntary and no
obligation insurance forum, the direction the Club is taking is largely
open - and depends on its members initiatives. It is about creating a
circle of personal relations within the industry - sharing some ideas
and having the potential of connections at hand when you need it.
Simple.
I know that quite a few members have started to discuss issues in
"private" which of course is the purpose of the Business Club idea. We
want to put you guys in touch. The rest is up to you.
It is just great to see where all the "old" and not so old "warriors"
of our business are located these days and the potential of the
connections among these people is truly amazing.
It would be my wish for the new year that we keep the momentum up and I
would like to thank you all for having taken the steps to join and
actively support the forum by occasionally publishing a message.
Remember, there is no restrictions - say what you have to say.
Over the past few days some very good mates have joined the Club and
some more guys and gals are in the pipeline. I would like to welcome
Fritz Bruegger, Ernst Notz, David Sandoe and Jonathan C.M. Dennes - and
thank everyone else that have joined so far. Remember, by joining you
honor all of us - the other members of the BI Business Club. thanks and
may all your wishes come through in 2006 !
