Hi everyone!

Some months ago I read that the SMART API only had reading features against others like for example
the Indivo API that has reading, writing and sharing features. Does it mean that I cannot write to a PCHR
from the SMART API for example? Even If that record is the one of myself?

Thank you,

Jaime

Hi Jaime,

While write is not standard SMART capability, PCHRs can easily implement such functionality in the SMART API calls by overloading the GET methods with PUT/POST methods in the API. Now, which records you can write to and under what constraints is a question of policy of the particular system.

I am not sure about what write API Indivo supports, but my colleague Pascal should know (CC).

Hope this helps.

Nikolai
