Re building VSMMAR UNITS

Seems there is some demand for getting a build of the VSR Mini Mega units.

Just a show of hands please … if I put up a Kickstarter and you could get the assembled, complete VSMMAR, conformal coated, programmed, usb cable, and with the 3-D printed case, for around $200, how many would you want?

I would first have to check with the manufacturer on the availability of chips and there would likely be a few month lead time.

I would use Kickstarter to manage the money and it would be an all or none thing.  If a minimum number of commitments did not materialize, none would be built.

Timing is critical also since I am in the only until the end of February then it’s back to Panama where the logistics would be more difficult and the shipping costs much higher.

I put a post about this group on the CF lithium thread, suggesting others join, and advising about your work.

I have a gen3 I hope to use. So I wont need another at this point.

it looks interesting, are you planning to add CANBus (or more exactly NMEA2000) to it? It would be useful if it had this for marine applications, we could get battery voltage and charge/discharge data to feed into our plotter etc.
