Are you planning to offer finished boards? Al tried selling bare boards ($5) & a parts list, but the project didn’t really take off until he offered completed boards. Most cruisers aren’t geeks.
I brought several of his boards with us (we’re from the PNW) to sell for him here in SE Asia (at cost, as a favor to Al, since he was doing us all a favor). I’ll happily help with getting the word out, & even selling them. And we know another boat out here that might help push them as well (but he’d want to make something on them). We have one of the most popular websites for cruising boats, especially for SE Asia, since we give away a lot of info, so we could push them there as well.
I’m an EECS, more SW than HW, but I studied both & can read schematics, & I understood all of Al’s board (which, admittedly, was fairly simple). I’d be happy to help if you need it. But we’re currently on our boat in the Philippines, so not sure I could do much physically. And you seem to have things well in hand.
