Hey Sarah,
Nice talking with you today. I've attached here three documents. The first is just a one-page overview of Imagine Schools' efforts in Loudoun County. The second is the survey we discussed and the third is a listing of the various themes Imagine Schools can offer within its schools, which is referenced in the survey. Here's also an article from last week's Leesburg Today that is pretty thorough:

What we're trying to do over the coming weeks and months, in advance of a potential charter school application in Loudoun, is to gather input from parents. What type of school would they want to see? Is full-day kindergarten a need? Do parents want a STEM, IB, environmental, classical or other approach that Imagine could offer? Are there other educational needs? Imagine Schools, who I'm helping gather this input for, wants to try and determine as best they can what type of school parents might want.
I know it's incredibly late notice, but if you're available tomorrow night, we'd love to have parents at the event LEAP is hosting at 7 p.m. at George Washington University's campus in Loudoun. Assuming that doesn't work on such late notice, we'd also love to have a parental meeting in the western Loudoun or Lovettsville area. If you, or someone you know might be interested in helping us get interested parents together for something that like, we'd be extremely grateful. But at minimum, we're asking that parents spend a few minutes and fill out the attached survey that will help us get a better idea of what needs might exist in the community and how a public charter school might fill any gaps.
Feel free to forward this to others and give me a call at your convenience with any questions.
Thanks again for talking today.
Best,
Charlie Jackson
