I have been using Workflowy and now Checkvist, Fargo next? How feasible are these customizations?

I'm new to fargo and also kind of new to javascript. But with help of others and of course google I'm sure I'll manage to complete what I set out to do. And in doing so help others in the future.

I started with workflowy and I’m currently working with checkvist.com which has almost all the features I need, also by switching from checkvist to fargo I lose some functionality currently not natively build into fargo (as far as I know) However I am sure that this can all be accomplish using javascript.

Note: I am a visual thinker and I have found that using an outlining structure/hierarchy together with custom icons incredibly helps in retaining/organizing information, hence the additional need for icons/borders/colours/CSS customization.

Stuff I miss in fargo

1.       Tagging. Like #tag #and #more #tags. What do I want tags to do? A) In workflowy/checkvist there is the possibility of pressing a tag witch than automatically becomes a filter for the whole list (macro: copy to search and execute), so that and B) Also I would like to style the tags with icons/colors/border.

2.       Calculation. This is for project planning/scheduling purposes. I would like to give lines attributes like time/date/number/percentage. And then I would like to sum/devide/substract these value up and down the tree as I see fit. so I can create an optimal schedule based on different dimensions.  An example (only for time, summed up) is found here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkvist-timecalc/mifdcejomojmjllmcgjoopnafpgaloko the problem with this plugin is that it is not operating anymore and there is only time and 1 icon.

3.       “Due page”. What Checkvist does great is that is has a “due” page. Here the lines are shown with a date tag, grouped by date tag. For example, “today”, “tomorrow”, “this week”, “May 16”, “later”, etc.. This is perfect for my tasks management.

4.       “Timer” together with number two for project tracking/ time management. I would like to push a button to start a timer. When I stop I would like the time to be saved for the next time I’m going to work on that project or task. Simple start/stop/reset/manual input timer is good. This way I can track my planned v/s actual times

5.       “Easy input buttons” like 1 to 10 or Yes/No buttons you find in forms. This would be helpful for tracking habits/routines. The best would be if I could also generate graphs from this data, but that is all maybe just a little too much..

Yes this is probably a lot of coding, yes I can do this very easily using other programs (Checkvist with spreadsheet/timer) but next to my primary goal (productivity) my secondary goal I is to become better at programming. So what is already inside fargo to use? What would be good code snippets to use? How can I implement these snippets into fargo? Or is this al a little too much customization, and should I stick with Checkvist..?

PS: I know a little javascipt and a little more HTML5/CSS3.
