Is it possible to have more than one public outline in a single Fargo account?

Here's my situation:

I created two outlines - one to use as a regular blog and the other a noteblog. Once I had the outlines setup, I went into the first (the regular blog) and named it, used the eye and viewed it, looked good. When I tried to make the noteblog public, by naming it, I got an alert saying the outline was already named:

Can't set the name for this outline because it already has one: http://nostraightlines.smallpict.com/.

When I use the eye on the noteblog outline, there are two distinct behaviors:

  • If the cursor is at a point in the outline with a date that exists in the regular blog outline, I am presented with the page for that date from the regular blog
  • If the cursor is at an article in the noteblog outline, or at a date in the noteblog outline that does not exist in the regular blog outline, then I receive an error such as: There is no content to display at "/beta.fargo.io/users/nostraightlines/2014/05/16/organizingACommonplaceBlog.html".

Clicking on the Home icon while viewing the noteblog (unnamed) outline takes me to the home page of the regular (named) outline.

Yes. There's no limit, at least not at this time. Create new named outlines when you need to.

If an outline behaves weirdly you can always go into the file system, delete it, and start over.

Named outlines must be unique. You can not use the same name on two outlines, AND, once you assign a name to an outline it cannot be re-assigned or re-used for another outline.

I ran into the same problem G. Brett Miller did.  I have multiple outlines, but it seems I'm only able to have ONE hosted on smallpict.com. (http://jfreeman.smallpict.com) ... i experienced the same thing GBM did when I tried to make another one public at a different FQDN or as a subsite of jfreeman.smallpict.com..

:-)

Love to find a way to publish one more outline :-)

I just created two outlines, gave them names, added posts to both, and was able to click the Eye icon to get to them. No errors. The software is working.

so interesting.. I just created a new outline, named it, saved it, rendered it.. gave it a url.. tried to 'see' it with the 'eye-con'.   got this in my browser:

There is no content to display at "/beta.fargo.io/users/jsf_testing/test/index.html".

i thought the URL was set to "http://jsf_testing.smallpict.com/"

While you can have multiple named outlines, a name only be assigned to one outline. I in fact have five different names outlines that you can find via frank.smallpict.com.

Thanks!
