I would like to create an archive page for my blog at http://webnotes.frankmcpherson.net/ that is built in Fargo using #type "stream." I would like it to work like Dave's at http://scripting.com/archive.html

I've tried to create a page by creating a top level node with a type Outline and render that page, which produces the desired result: http://webnotes.frankmcpherson.net/archive.html

You can see how I set that up in the archive page.png screen shot.

However, as a side affect I end up with an entry at the bottom of the blog page with the title "Undefined, Undefined, NaN, NaN" (See the second screen shot.)

Is there an attribute I can set for the Archive node in my stream outline that tells the CMS to render it as a separate page but don't included it in the stream? As a work around, I think I can build the page in Fargo, render the page, then comment out that node but if there is a more elegant solution, I am interested in learning it. I prefer to keep this blog as a stream type.

Frank,
I remember having that issue but my home page doesn't show back that far anymore so I don't remember if I did something or just ignored it.

I don't notice anything on that first day's post in attributes or anything like that.

If I could make my monthly pages show as a stream like yours do, I might be able to reproduce that again.

I think if you search the archive of the Fargo2 list you'll find your initial report, and possibly a solution or workaround for the problem.

Jeffrey posted about this problem here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/fargo2/stream/fargo2/MREldTBslmo/9SzB0qa4bdgJ

From best that I can tell from searching through the group, nobody has found a solution. As near as I can tell, the only work around is to add the content to the top level node, manually render the page to get it on your server, then comment the node out so that it doesn't get included when Fargo renders the home page through the stream template.
