Hello all,

Over the last week or so I've been getting the following message fairly frequently while using Fargo with a Try again button.

Dropbox save error

Can't save because Dropbox reports that this account has made too many requests recently.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Any thoughts on why this is happening?

My pattern of usage for Fargo has not changed the since Fargo first came out. At the start of my day I update some feeds, read, delete, etc. Then I generally don't use Fargo until the next morning but the browser window with Fargo is there in the background. I use Fargo on one computer.

Thank you,

Toodle-loooooooooo

Hi Thomas -- yes I've been getting the same messages and my rate of use hasn't changed.

It's possible something changed on Dropbox's end, but I haven't heard anything (not that I would be likely to hear about it though).

Hello Dave,

Thank you for the confirmation of the behavior. I did some web searching with Google and on the Drop Box forums but didn't find info of use.

I'm going to try some things here like closing the browser window when not using Fargo to see what happens.

I should have also mentioned I have the desktop version of DB installed on the same computer I use for Fargo. My use of the desktop version has not changed recently. The desktop version has not reported any errors that I can find. Just another data point there in case anyone else is tuning in.

Hello all,

In an attempt to diagnose my issue I did several things. I totally uninstalled Dropbox from my Mac OS X desktop computer. On a iPad I closed a tab I had opened on Safari for Fargo. I also, when not in use, close the tab in Chrome for Fargo on my desktop computer.

So far I've not seen this error anymore.
