Good Afternoon Everyone!

I just wanted to write everyone and let you know that as sad as we are to have our usual Thursday night sm. group not be going on this semester, Vivian and I will be co-leading a sm. group and would love for you to consider attending. All in the information will be updated on the church's website in the next week and on Jan. 22nd, the sm. group leaders/groups will be introduced at both services. 

We will be looking at R Foster's book, Celebration of Discipline. We'll be meeting at my house (649 Irving St. NW) every other Sunday eve from 5-7pm for light dinner followed by discussion of whatever discipline we have attempted to experience in the prior couple of weeks. 

Just wanted to give you all a heads up in case you were curious and also because I have really enjoyed our group in the past and was hoping that we might have some retention from the previous group, especially since we have had great co-ed attendance. I know that some people might be getting involved with some other activities with the youth center, with youth etc. but just wanted to put the info. out there, plus we are meeting every other week so as not to overwhelm people with too many activities in what I am sure is already quite a busy sched.

Our first sm. group session/meeting time will be Jan. 29th. ( Probably I will be making a delicious soup of some sort, ha.).
