Dear Small Collections colleagues,
I have been thinking about you recently. How are you all doing? The challenges of trying to do remote work without access to ILL make it even harder for us. And even though there are a number of database providers who are offering expanded access and extended trials during the pandemic, it can be hard to get the proxy server work done on the library end.

You may be zoomed out or you may be feeling extra isolated. But since we missed our in-person meeting at CEAL, would any of you like to get together for coffee/tea and a chat over Zoom? It would be nice to catch up and share stories/tips.

Depending on your interest I can set up a doodle poll to find a good time. Let me know:)

Hi Sharon,

I think it's a great idea.  We can share with each other what's happening in our libraries/universities, how we are coping with the shutdown, the common questions we have received from patrons etc. 

Of course, the coffee chat will be optional! Totally understand if you feel overwhelmed and don't want an extra zoom session 🙂
