ANSWER: I have been using technology in teaching but I don't think I
am successful in integrating it in a manner that students get to
interact with programmed activities and the like.
> 2. In your classroom setting have you really departed from the

ANSWER: I would like to believe that I have gone pass the traditional
approach.

ANSWER: The training would definitely widen my horizons insofar as
integrating technology in teaching. Surely, students would be more
engaged in the learning process because the way there is out-of-the-
box, more than the ordinary.

The first day of this training-workshop gave me the distinction
between using technology and integrating technology. I am honestly
still in "using technology". I believe that this exposure would help
me gear towards the constructivist approach and which would help me
design a "real" learner-centered teaching-learning experience. With
this I can make my language and literature classes more engaging,
relevant, and meaningful.

1. To what extent have you used or integrated technology in your
teaching?

In a way, yes... Considering our context, there are lessons where the
integration of technology would be very much helpful...

2. In your classroom setting have you really departed from the
traditional approach to a constructivist approach?

The Refined RVM Pedagogy that we newly adapted strongly upholds the
constructivist theory, however, in terms of its implementation we have
yet to master it.

1. It's sad to say that I have not used technology in my teaching.  I definitely need this seminar.  I would love to know how to do so.
2. I would say I have applied constructivism but there are times when I get a little traditional.  I'm trying to avoid it though.
3. This would make me get rid of the chalk and blackboard so that I can engage my students in worthwhile technology-driven activities.

1. As a teacher, I've been using the technology such as PowerPoint
presentations, film showing on DVD etc. but the integration is
limited. Hopefully I can integrate very well already through this
training-workshop.
2. I am still using the traditional approach and tried Constructivist
approach since I'm a primary grade teacher. It is needed as you know
kids in this generation are different from our generation. With this
approach my pupils are participative and they had fun at the same time
learned.
3. With this training I'm sure I can do a lot .

1. I sometimes use or integrate technology in my teaching depending on my topic.
2. I have not totally departed from the traditional approach yet.
3. The training will definitely help me make my classes more
interesting because it is something new.

1. I integrate technology in teacheing at times that my topic really
need the help of it, however, our school is lack of facilities as of
the moment
2. I assumed that I do away the traditional way but from my first
statement we really don't have that technology ready at hand and we
have a limited use of computer.
3.This training will definitely be a big help for the kind of students
that we have now who are "computer enthusiast" or "computer geek".

1. I know I am able to make use of integrated technology in my
classes. Like for example, I usually use Powerpoint, film showing, web
groups. Students really look forward to those activities
2. It is quite inevitable to depart from traditional approach because
of time restriction and limited resources. As a teacher, I have to be
really flexible at times (thus the chalk-board pair can be quite a
great help).. But, traditional in a way that the teacher reads
everything from the book (the teacher-centered kind of approach) is
such a no-no for me...
3. I love learning new techniques that could enhance my teaching
skills; and I know this training is one of those oh-so-awesome one
(and definitely not the boring ones). Whatever inputs I learn here
will be put to good use someday.. God willing.. :)

ANSWER: I made efforts  to use technology in teaching but the problem is the availability of the materials needed. Sad to say, that in my case, I was not able to integrate technology fully in teaching.

2. In your classroom setting have you really departed from the
traditional approach to a constructivist approach?

ANSWER: It is really hard for me to be a constructivist teacher for I'm handling
Grade 1 but I always try my best to be "the sage on stage"kind of teacher. I always try my
best to give my pupils more productive and meaningful activities rather than conducting
   lectures everyday.

integrate it in my classroom activities.

Answer: I am still using traditional approach in some of my lessons to
express and derive certain formula.

Answer: This will give us a broad idea on how to make the lesson
interesting for the learners. This will also provide a great
opportunity for them to think critically based on a given topic.

way (without technology integration) but i know this workshop will

I just had a clear distinction in the morning as to the concept of

using technology in my classes but unfortunately I have not been able
to integrate technology in any of my English classes. I classify
myself a novice in the teaching field and I am still on my way of
upgrading my teaching methodology. I want to learn more strategies to
be able to make my classes more creative, interactive and interesting
because I am very poor of teaching strategies, myself. I am
overwhelmed with the fact that I am one of the delegate to partake in
this training beacuse I believe I can learn a lot in improving my
teaching.

- If it is necessary. I don't usually integrate technology in
teaching but I'd tried to in giving out projects only.

- In some ways, I could say that I have gone through in the
traditional approach.

- Through the training, it would help me on how to integrate
technology in teaching my subject. Thus, this would make your subject
very interesting to the student because your engaging in a new
learning/teaching approach and which is new to the students.

I have just integrated the basic to middle level of technology in my teaching since I am not that expert in using it.
2. In your classroom setting have you really departed from the
traditional approach to a constructivist approach?

In a ways yes, but not to the extent because of some circumstances that cannot be avoided such as the availability of the

      technology to be use etc.

3. How do you think would your training take you to a constructivist
approach to teaching the English language and literature?
This training would be a great help because it broadens my knowledge and allows me to explore on how to use and integrate the
        technology in teaching.

On my 13th year of teaching, I only integrate basic technology as my
strategy in classroom discussion occasionally. Like twice a month.
> 2. In your classroom setting have you really departed from the
> traditional approach to a constructivist approach?
Yes. I have to. You can't ignore students' attitude towards the
subject and the teacher giving the discussion. As teachers, we must be
sensitive to the needs of the students, not merely complying the
lesson content but the students' learning.
> 3. How do you think would your training take you to a constructivist

This training will take me to higher level of technology integration
and an approach that will bring my students to an interesting,
inspiring, and worth-learning experience.
