I want to redo all of our emergency maps in our buildings. I want to show evacuation routes, assembly area, tornado shelters, emergency equipment locations, etc. Does anyone have a good template, preferably in Microsoft Word, they would be willing to share?
Thank you!

We are in the process of redoing all of our maps as well.  Attached are examples.  This is the process our graphics department used:

“From CAD drawings, nonessential layers are turned off and a pdf was produced that I then imported into Adobe Illustrator and I was then able to refine the "colors" of essential parts, like countertops in classrooms, bathroom stalls, sinks, etc. to be black instead of whatever color they were. To indicate the evac routes a color was chosen by the project initiator for the safe area (Parking lot) closest to the building, and the arrows on each map coordinated with the campus map showing the exterior safe areas.”
