I'm not sure if anyone is interested but I have attached our revised written HAZCOM plan with GHS incorporated.  It is a template for each department to fill in the blanks and keep in their area with the SDS books and posters.  I did not attached the Appendices which are the OSHA factsheets on SDS, Labeling, Pictorials in English and Spanish plus the OSHA Brief and Final Rule with implementation timeline and can be found here:  http://www.osha.gov/pls/publications/publication.athruz?pType=Industry&pID=382

We purchased an excellent  GHS training video, #2981 from ERI-Safety in digital file format with the rights to post on our "intranet" for our employees only.  It was $495, but I we got it for a discounted price of $336.60 because we bought 16 other safety videos as well.
Here is the link if you are interested.  Danita Caldwell is an excellent customer service rep - 800-311-1143 Ext. 134

The video comes with a factsheet which we use for an employee handout), Leaders guide (almost verbtim of the video) that can be previewed as well.   Our "ace" Center for Teaching and Learning developed a Blackboard with closed captioning and online quiz for the academic applications.   We are delivering the training for the housekeeping, buildings, grounds, maintenance, shipping/receiving, copy centers and bookstores via classroom method.

I think this is all going to work out on time.  Maybe it will save someone else some time.

Dale,
Is this what you're using to meet the employee training requirements by Dec. 1?
Thanks,
Chris

Good afternoon,

Attached are the training modules I did last fall to get the Physical Plant staff acquainted with the new rules and to complete annual HazComm training.  We had to bring someone in to do the Spanish session for me.

Hi Chris,

This is a basic GHS format that can certainly be expanded for employee training requirements.

During employee training development, I incorporate other sections of the Hazard Communication Standard (and other regulations) that apply to the target audience and the potential hazards they may be exposed to.

Thanks,
-Dale
