As the title says, I can't save as cbddlp files through chitubox slicer. I have recently bought a elegoo mars 2 for my first resin printer. I have fdm printers and have a good amount of experience with them, so I felt pretty confident when trying to use chitubox. I selected mars 2. Not 2 pro. And it will not let me save it as a cbddlp file. My printer doesn't recognize the ctb. files as printable so I must use cbddlp files. If you know anything please help.

Randomly the slicer will go completely haywire - take slices out of the model, mirror them, and put them on the opposite side of the build plate. At the same time it generates rectangles that cover the entire build plate. See the image above. The worst part is, it's random, sometimes the slicer generates a valid print like this one

I recently purchased an Alfawise w10 (which is the same as the Longer 3D Orange 10). The slicer packaged with these printers read .lgs files, and needless to say are overall lacking in features. I was hoping I could use ChiTuBox to create a .slc file to then pass into the slice to get my .lgs, however despite seeing .slc as a readable file the slicers only open .stl files. I would love it if you added support for these printers.

Q1: How does Preform stack up against other slicers? I hear a lot of good things about Chitubox.
Q2: Can other slicers be used with the Form 3?
Q3: If you can and do use another slicer, can you open the files in Preform and then upload them to the printer via. the internet connection and monitor the prints and manage resin usage via. dashboard?

Because Lychee slicer is missing some setting options or function options of the official slicer of the printer, or the format of the slice file is incorrect, so we only provide a few newly listed printers whose setting options or function options are identical with those of the official slicer. If you don't find the settings you need here, please replace the Lychee slicer with Anycubic Photo Workshop or Chitubox slicer for best printing results.

I use the Pay version of Lychee. I find chitubox clunky compared to everything Lychee does. I rarely have any fails based on supports with it. I print up a lot of stuff as I use 2 Elegoo Saturn printers. I initially used the Free Lychee version. but the fact that it can identify faults with the paid had me switch along with the other extra things the paid version does.

Currently I use and prefer the free version of Lychee. I have used the Anycubic slicer, Chitubox and Lychee, the free version. In my experience Lychee has the best auto support program. But aside from auto supports I would question whether it is the slicer causing failures.

What has been bothering me a little is in relation to the slicer. When I slice an item, Chitubox shows 3 hour/20 g (consumption), but this does not converge, when I print the final result is about 40 % higher than expected, this in both cases (time and resin consumption). I understand that resin consumption can be a little more relative, but time should converge.
