How often do you add items to your reading list, only to forget about them later? Every day I get notifications that readers are saving my articles to their Reading List. But how many actually read the articles later?

Sometimes you might come across an article you really want to read, but just don't have time to read it now. There's an easy way to save those articles to read later, using tools built into an iPhone, or even a popular application.

If you're used to using an iPhone and don't want to rely on another app, you can save articles to a reading list right from the Safari browser. This means you can access those stories later on your iPhone, iPad or even Mac. In Safari, tap the share button at the bottom of the screen and then tap "Add to Reading List."

Google introduced similar functionality for Android phones last year. On an Android phone using the Chrome browser, you want to long press a link and then select "Download link." This will save the story for reading at another time, and you can access it by tapping the menu button and then selecting "Downloads."

Google Keep is one of my favorite places to make lists and notes. The app lets you color-code notes and pin important notes for easy access. I also have a few notes where I've saved articles for later. I like that Google Keep populates the article headline as well as a key image so you're not trying to parse through dozens of URLs.

Apple's Notes app, like Google Keep, is a handy place to keep notes, checklists, articles, photos and more. There's a bit more flexibility with note construction compared to other apps. You can start typing notes or ideas, switch to your Apple Pencil (if you're using Notes on iPad) and add checklists without altering the note's original structure. You can also swap between light and dark mode, scan documents, add grids and lines, and more to make the app work best for you.

You can rely on QuickBooks Online recurring transactions feature to save time and eliminate errors. You can automate repetitive invoices, reminders from a bill or check, and more by using recurring transactions. A recurring transaction template won't disappear from the reminder list after use. This template lets you automatically send a transaction for future use while saving time and reducing mistakes as you use them.

I'm experiencing the same issue. We use recurring transactions with reminders to create a shell for most of our monthly bills and then update invoice numbers and amounts when the invoice is received. Up until a few weeks ago, we could find the transaction in the reminder list, make the updates and save it. The transaction would then be automatically removed from the reminder list until the next scheduled reminder date.

I can see the importance of QuickBooks being able to work the way it was before. We have an ongoing issue with recurring reminder templates next date not updating. We've identified this investigation as INV-91805. Our engineers are already working to get this fixed as soon as possible. While we don't have a temporary workaround at the moment, I recommend reaching out to our support team so they can add you to the list of affected users.

If you are already using a tracker or health app of some sort, chances are it syncs with Noom. As of today the list is Fitbit (but of course!), Bewell Connect, Misfit Wearables, Biomedtrics, Movable, Moves App, Fitbug, Polar, Garmin Connect, Qardio, iHealth, Runkeeper, Jawbone UP, Sony Lifelog, Life Trak, Striiv, Lumo, Withings, Microsoft, and YOO.

If you're wondering how they accomplish the task of helping you break bad habits, Noom accomplishes this behavior modification feat with super quick and fun short daily articles in your daily menu/to-do list. I'd read them while I was waiting for the kids to get shoes on, in line at the grocery store, waiting for an elevator, that kind of thing.

I loved this feature and in hindsight I wish I used it more. I'd love the ability to search previously read articles. They are still in each day's menu after you read them but in order to go back to one to review it, you either have to have clicked save or you have to remember what day it was. I wish I could search for key words from the days I really liked. There were a couple days where I'd have an off day and I thought, Oh I need to review that one article but I didn't save it.

A lot of people ask me once you cancel your Noom subscription, do you lose access to the app? I'm writing this in 2020 and I still have the free app on my phone. I can tell you that you still have the ability to log food with colors, log your weight and exercise, and see your previously entered food & weight data. What you lose access to when you cancel is the daily lessons, the goal specialist and the group chat. You also can no longer sync your fitbit, in my experience. Also you do not have access to the saved articles, since the articles are part of the paid portion.

Hi Cathleen, thank you for your comment. I have been looking into starting Noom but like most people am very worried that this is a lot of money and is it just another phase thing that is on the market, but reading these reviews and comments i am more interested, especially with your comment about how you had headaches every day, because i am the same constant chronic migranes every day, these on top of my health problems and mental health deterioration more so after I had a total hysterectomy putting me into surgical menopause at the age of 37 has really taken a massive down wood spiral in both my weight, mental state and poor eating habits, let alone zero ability to any physical activity. Like many i have joined a gym but went a few times and not gone back, mainly because i have so little energy and have these bad headaches daily that going to the gym just makes my headaches and body temperature so hot that i end up vomiting, so I think i like many others need to have advice from others who are in similar positions to me, that are willing to reply and share there journeys since they have been using noom, of how it has helped them or not and if you honestly believe it could help me and mostly that it is really worth the expensive cost for they subscription, your long term results and reviews of your experiences would really be appreciated and any further advice you could give me would rreally be grateful for me to decide if i am going to take the plunge and subscribe to noom with you all.
Also a big thank you for this detailed review, it is very helpful to explain how it all works. Thank you all for any replys in advance.

The reminders-through-association approach is one of several reminder strategies thatindividuals can employ to remember to follow through on their intentions. Well-placedwritten reminders (like those examined in Study 3) and scheduled digital reminders are otherexamples. We posit that reminders through association are especially well-suited forremembering challenges with particular characteristics. For example, they may be more usefulthan scheduled digital reminders when digital technology is not available in the moment (a)when it is necessary to create the reminder or (b) when follow-through can occur (e.g., whenmindfully working or socializing, in meetings or at meals, when preparing for bed orexercising). The reminders-through-association approach is also well suited for rememberingto opportunistically perform a behavior when follow-through can occur only at an unknownfuture time. For example, you might want to remember to buy diapers the next time you happento be in CVS, or to ask a friend about how a medical appointment went the next time he orshe calls. An additional study we conducted (see Study S1 in the Supplemental Materialavailable online) illustrates this point. It shows that reminders through association can bemore effective than scheduled, digital reminders for following through on intentions thatare to be performed when people encounter a specific context at an unknown future time. However, given the cognitive effort that may be needed to create and use reminders throughassociation, digital reminders may be a superior technology in some contexts.

Instapaper allows you to save a variety of links and websites to read later, syncing your list across devices. Not only can you save web pages, but the app also lets you save videos and other web content.

Your articles are also saved for offline use, making it easy to catch up on your reading with no internet access. Furthermore, you can create folders or sort items by date, popularity, or other metrics.

Although this precise situation is not covered there was a OneNote blog post back in April of 2018 where by reading it and the comments it's clear the OneNote for Windows app does not have feature/stability parity with OneNote 2016:

We interpreted both of these steps by Microsoft as an understanding that OneNote for Windows simply isn't ready for primetime and is basically being beta-tested on consumers as it's pre-packaged with Windows. While this doesn't help your current situation, I would echo the caution for other users that the OneNote app for Windows be avoided and to instead leverage the OneNote 2016 desktop app in conjunction with OneNote Online as part of O365.

This is the first time I've heard of it here and I simply asked if there were other reports I hadn't heard of. Your response is unprofessional. Looking at the links that you provided, let's break this down.

First link: 3 total people having an issue from over a year ago, 32 total comments.

Second link: 2 total people having issues, 2 total replies, 1 link to a Microsoft community post which they also created, which had 1 total reply.

For your google search result, those are all one offs that are over 2 years old. Again, there's no pandemic here of dozens or hundreds people experiencing a major data loss.

That's a small handful of people given the size of the OneNote ecosystem, some of which did things like turn off wifi in the middle of their sync. Some using Mac, some using office 2010.

If you had a huge dataloss bug worthy of running for the hills, you would have hundreds people chiming into to those reddit threads.

Look at the dates in the search results.

None of that means that you didn't have a legitimate issue. It is just not a common one.
