I think there is another thing wrong with your configuration.

Maybe the BT Address.

You're right. It's working now.

The bluetooth address of the inverter was correct. The bluetooth address of the computer was wrong.
Running on VM-ware and the bluetooth address of the host is different from the VM-image. Hard coded it, and it worked.

I have it also running on my WL500GD router. Cross compiled it, with all the libs like curl and mysql.

Just have sometimes a problem with 1970 dates returned with error on values. Searching for a solution.

I think that if you search a little bit that you will find a script which deletes the 1970 entries and the entries which are to big for your inverter.

sma-tool realy needs a reprogramming as the bugs are realy hard to fix.

I think I've run into the same issue as I'm running mine on a VMWare install. How'd you hardcode the bluetooth address?

Cheers Alex

Thats a long time ago.

I extracted the bleutooth address under Windows. Then i hardcoded it in the files where
the bluetooth adress is set (in a variable). Dont know what file it was exactly.

Weird after looking into it the MAC address is in fact correct. As I bought two of the same Dongles and one was already connected in windows I grabs its MAC & used bdaddr to change the MAC when I connected it under linux but it was the same address.

It now seems to be working although nothing is appearing on pvoutput so I guess I still have some things to work out.

Cheers though.
