Will it work with SB 3000TL-US WebConnect?

I skimmed the list of posts, and didn't see this type of question asked, but my apologies if it is a repeat (and I'd be grateful if someone could point me to the original in that case).    

It seems that in the US, the 3000TL-US doesn't have bluetooth (even as an option).  It does have an optional "WebConnect", which gives it ethernet and then it is supposed to plug and play into a home network...  and sunny explorer should then find it from a windows box.  Without having looked at the code here much, my guess is that with relatively minor changes I should be able to use this code to get and upload the data for a 3000TL-US over ethernet.  The sma-uploader tool (a VB project on the web) should work with a windows box without requiring bluetooth, but I see that this one can run on other platforms (and I have a server that I'd rather run the code on than a windows box...).  

Anyone have any idea about whether that would work, and what the scope of such changes would be (maybe it already works as is...)?

this project code wont help you get the data, but you could use it to upload it - once in a DB.
