Don't forget to get in on this weeks contest!  We're giving away 4 oz bamboo roving and 1/2 oz angelina donated by Wonderland Fiber to the lucky winner of this weeks contest.  To enter the drawing, just help me make our website better!  For more info go to http://news.slvfest.com

VENDORS: the deadline for early registration is February 14th.  Fees for early registration are the same as last years fees: $65 for one booth plus $20 for each additional booth space.  Sharing booths is okay!  After the 14th booth fees will increast to $75 for the first booth plus $25 for each additional 15x15 space.

We've received confirmation of several returning vendors this week!

Ellen of Ellens Wooly Wonders is returning in her usual spot under the trees in the north west end of the park.  Ellen and Skein Train have been with us every year for SLVFest.

Jessica from Midnight Designs will also be joining us for the third time this year. Jessica carries SpinOlution spinning wheels, yarn, fiber, lotions and much more in her online store.

Debra Hayden of Magpie Woolworks is also coming back this year.  She said that she's got a foot of snow up south of Del Norte right now.  She's expecting a few kid goats in late May.  I hope to go up and see them when they're born!

Jeff and Peggy of The 100th Sheep LLC will be coming back this year.  Peggy will have her dye kitchen set up in the same place as last year (on the east side, near Sonic).  She's offering the Triad Dying workshop again this year.  "Triad dyeing is a systematic way to create a variety of colors from three stock colors using simple proportions.  We will create 63 new hues using the three stock colors, and apply them to yarn samples. Students will leave this class with a dye recipe notebook containing samples and formulas for the acid dye colors created in the class!"  I'll have the workshop posted and available for sign-up in early March.  If you'd like to pre-register, please shot me an email.  The cost of the workshop is $85 and is an 8 hour class beginning at 10am.

Thanks for signing up for our weekly update.  Let me know if you have any questions...
