Last update on donations I have is as of 1-9-08, rumor has it we hit 1
Million USD in-world is this true. Based on my records I don't see the
conversion? Al so as Poppy McDunnough is doing the spreadsheets it
would be easier if she had access to this information then me copy/
pasting her the list.

Please keep me posted... Thanks Calliebot

No. God, wouldn't that be awesome to have raised $1M, but alas, we
aren't quite that popular. At last count, we have over $L56,000 in
world, which only actually adds up to maybe $150 USD. Our goal is
$L1M. Sodovan Torak is working on making us a meter that will be
placed in the Cookie Rose Garden in the V-Day corner.

As far as spreadsheets, Ada Radius is taking care of all of our
donation spreadsheets, so she will be taking care of that. I'm not
entirely sure what Poppy is doing.

Question - why don't you place the meter (or another one) at the VDay 4-sims?

Poppy is working on record keeping for public relation contacts.  She needs updated donations records to tie into that - Tory is giving me the raw data and I'm compiling it into the donor/L$ spreadsheet, which will got to VDay after the fundraising campaign is over - within 30 days after our Vagina Monologues performance.  I agree, it would be much easier if Poppy were in the google group.  The only reason why Poppy is not in google group is that VDay.org is specific that only the actresses and the production people who must see the script, may see the script.  Callie, If you like, I could send my spreadsheet directly to her email account every day.

I will do this as soon as we get the four sim joint approved. I will
probably move all of the V-Day stuff over to the new sim.

I don't understand this ToryLynn. Vday doesn't own 4 sims. If we do use 4 sims it will be for the performance. Am I misreading this communication?

We can have the donation meter at more than one location - it's just a PR thing.  It's a good idea to have it at the performance location as well as the Rose Garden V-Day HQ area.

I want to clarify that people other than producer-director-actress are
allowed on the VDay/VSpot page. But, I am only mentioning this out of
fact. I have recently added people directly to the VSpot, but will
refrain from doing so, as it appears that that is no longer my duty.

These are the allowed roles on the VSpot:
Producer
Director
Stage Manager
Technical Crew
Actress/Actor
Other Performer
Publicity Crew
Steering Committee
Beneficiary
Fiscal Sponsor

I also want to re-emphasize the necessity and importance of specifying
a Beneficiary. That is basically the VDay charity you would want the
funds to go to. I would suggest that the beneficiary be a fiscal
sponsor so that donors can receive tax deduction directly from the
benefiting charity.

I would encourage the producers who have access to the VSpot log in
and take the time to read the lengthy administrative material there.
The material explains the issue of the beneficiary, fiscal sponsor,
and all that...

Does Poppy have access, she is really on top of it and would like to provide the lists of Sponsers based on the format Lauren gave me... she tried to get in but is still unable to view these messages. Thank you.

Hi CallieDel - you can invite her into the goggle group - I don't have her email address to do so.  (Sorry! - this slipped past me yesterday among all the other stuff).  If you give her my email address - adar...@gmail.com - I'll be happy to send spreadsheets directly to her, that will make it easier for her, and we can check each other's work.
