sLiterary Resigns from VDay (Inworld group notice)

Since my mention of sLiterary's participation in the Vagina
Monologues, some of you have expressed doubts about it being within
the scope of sLiterary. While I believe that the VM is literary, I
concede that the topic of vaginas and violence against women is beyond
our immediate scope. sLiterary is thus withdrawing its name from the
Vagina Monologues.

sLiterary is about bringing literary and artistic culture into the
metaverse, and creating a culture of a different kind yet to exist in
virtual worlds. While participation in VDay and the Vagina Monologues
is currently beyond our scope, we may one day embrace the event. Until
then, the Vagina Monologue Production will continue under the
sponsorship and support of several other SL groups who have less
stringent charters. For those interested in staying in tune with VDay
on Second Life, I encourage you to join the VDay group.
