Trying to see if there is a simpler way to do this other than awk..

Is there a way to list only partitions a user has access to that are in
the 'UP' state?

Hi;

You can use the spart to list only partitions a user has access to that
are in the 'UP' state (and with other limiting factors such as partition
limits, allow/deny groups and qos etc.) :

It is a user-oriented partition info command for slurm. Also, it gives a
brief view of the cluster.
