So i recently wanted to play Valorant on my Laptop (i5 -1135G7 CPU, iRIS Xe GPU, 8GB RAM) and it was mostly running smoothly, but had insane FPS drops down to 1 FPS. The Specs should be more than enough to play it on a decent Quality. I have seen that this Problem is well known since 2 Years, but the current Fix ist just to downgrade the Graphics Driver to Version 27.20.100.8476. But this Version does only support up to gen 10, while my Laptop is gen 11. Should i just just downgrade my driver despite the version difference?

It worked great before, i was able to play many games like GTA, Fortnite, Valorant and witcher 3 with 50+ fps constant, but after the updates which came after 28.20.100.8322 ruined it, i also have seen many of my friends and even many peoples on the internet with the same problem, and the solution they provide is hilarious, they just tell you to downgrade your graphics card to 27.20.100.8476, which is not supported in windows 11, so what am i supposed to do now, go back to windows 10 just to download this old version of graphics card.

2. Can you provide more details about the updates beyond version 28.20.100.8322 that seem to have triggered the FPS issues? Are there any specific changes or features introduced in those updates that might be linked to the problem?

When i try to play online games like valorant i have issues with the airpod pros. I can hear the game volume and other people but they cant hear me talk to them. When i change my input and output to airpod pros i hear nothing. When i change output to airpod pros i can hear everything but cant communicate. The same thing happens with discord on PC, however with the discord APP airpods work just fine. Its pretty strange any help would be appreciated

Starting today with the new patch I cannot open this game without completely ruining my sound. It will play the first 1-2 seconds of sound on the title screen and then everything goes silent. If I am playing a youtube video on my second monitor it will instantly bug the video and cause it to play super laggy and the sound there and on any other application/window on my PC not even system sounds work anymore.

This is happening to me too. Audio works until I enter the main menu of Valorant, then all audio (input and output) on my computer dies. Only fix for me has been to restart my PC, but once I launch Valorant, it breaks the audio again.

I thought I was alone aswell! I asked for help in the discord server but even after reinstalling the game, updating my drivers and doing the windows updates my game still crashes my sound on the entire PC. Only restarting helps but after launching Valorant again the same bug occurs!
Have any of you solved the problem already? ?

Started having this issue by sometime near the beggining of August.
I've noticed that Valorant controls all the audio on your pc, even if its not managed by windows(in my case, it's controlled by Creative Labs, since I have a hardware for my headphones.)
I've noticed that it disables my 7.1 configuration and turns it into 2.1, and even after closing valorant, all the sound options on PC make it crash, doesn't matter if it's on windows configurations, creative labs, etc. It just freezes the entire PC.
On my opinion, they changed how the app controls the audio on your device and it simply do a shit job on controlling it.
Hope someone can find a fix soon.

Yes after the new update 6.01.. I have the exactly same Issue!!..only few second on title screen and everything goes silent..same goes after exit..my sound card driver crash..youtube laggy and no sound..literally no nothing..the only fix is restart the pc and things back to normal..dont even start...i install uninstall sound driver, valorant, windows 10 pro..still the same result...just for your info..my pc is windows 10 with Creative Titanium HD with driver version 8.0.3 (Daniel K)...the rest of the game i dont have any issue..except valorant...due to this i have stop playing valorant for awhile..please fix the bug..thanks

I used to play Valorant time ago since it were launched but I decided to delete my account a year ago cause it start giving some issues with mi sound card SB XFi Titanium PCIex that I never can fix, the same problem you have guys, i've tried fully re-installing drivers and the game, using differents settings with the sound card, unabling the enancements, using an older driver, etc.. With no doubt the problem is in the Game or it AntiCheat service because it crash only with Valorant, isn't it?
Two weeks ago I created a new account decided to start playing again but I've forgotted the sound problem and now i'm screwed, even if I don't use this device as principal when I launch the game it crash, and is necessary to reboot to recover the audio service. Idk, but i guess this is enterely a Valorant developers responsibility cause them software can't or shouldn't harm the functions or services on your computer, less if the service or function is not being used by the software. I never had an issue with my sound card with anything else, Valorant is the first. They should fix it anyway. It's unbelievable they still can't fix this.
Anyone agree?
