An invaluable tool for advanced level Spanish students, A Handbook of Contemporary Spanish Grammar combines thorough, accessible explanations with a unique online component. This easy-to-navigate reference is ideal for use as a stand-alone textbook for advanced Spanish courses, a companion grammar reference for heritage speakers and Spanish majors, or as a self-study tool for students who want to go beyond the grammar taught in introductory or intermediate courses.

Advanced-level Spanish students will get a glimpse into centuries of Latin American literature with Letras de Hispanoamrica. The texts included in Letras de Hispanoamrica span twelve centuries, with a focus on authors from pre-Hispanic to contemporary times.

Precise grammar explanations, engaging readings, and a flexible organization are just a few reasons why Avanzando is so effective in high-intermediate to advanced Spanish courses, both for heritage and non-heritage students. Featuring a new thematic approach that exposes students to current topics, Avanzando continues to offer a comprehensive look at Spanish grammar.

The classic text for intermediate through advanced students provides a clear, visual presentation of grammar in terms easily understandable to students. Grammar explanations teach situationally appropriate English, both formal and colloquial and make distinctions between British and American usage. Each presentation is followed by graded activities that promote speaking, listening, and writing skills. --from publisher description

Additionally, the vocab should be organized in a context-specific way. In other words, it should show you how, when, and why to use each term. Bonus points if it considers the relevant cultural context.

One of the most valuable things a Russian language book can offer is the motivation to continue learning. Every chapter should teach you something new about the language and get you hyped up to study frequently.

There are books available for every learning level: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. In many cases, editorials will explore familiar vocabulary, exercises, and subjects through book series, increasing the degree of difficulty at each level.

First, begin with the basics before you move to intermediate and advanced subjects. Start with the Cyrillic alphabet, move to frequently used vocabulary, and then get to grammar and speaking practice.

The Cyrillic alphabet tends to be the most intimidating aspect of Russian for native English speakers. Master the Russian Alphabet is a great resource for beginners looking to learn this essential aspect of the language easily and effectively.

A Comprehensive Russian Grammar is an exhaustive guide to using the Russian language. The book offers detailed explanations of the most complex bits of Russian: numerals, verb conjugations, tenses, and adjective forms.

Native speakers offer native-level pronunciation, immediate feedback, and new vocabulary. Therefore, you should connect with native speakers through online language exchanges or local community centers. Alternatively, MeetUp and MyLanguageExchange are two sites that make finding an online language buddy a bit easier.

Secondly, the app teaches you the most frequently used Russian vocabulary through flashcards, relying on personalized, meaningful images and zero translations. Consequently, this approach allows you to learn words faster and retain them for longer, as flashcards with custom images create stronger and more memorable connections.

The workshop focuses on specific activities preparing for the FCE (First Certificate in English). It will help students develop their knowledge of the English language in terms of grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will also improve their tourism vocabulary. They will also develop their soft skills through practice to be done in groups during the lessons combined with presentations done in groups about touristic locations to promote and 'sell' to the rest of the participants.

The course will focus on the study of the most complex grammar structures (present perfect simple and continuous, modals in the present, modals in the past, conditionals, the passive form, the future) combined with pratical exercises (mainly sentence formation and sentence translation from Italian into English). The vocabulary session will focus on tourism, cities, travelling. During the course there will be practice related to reading, listening and review writing at a B2 level. In terms of speaking, the students will have the opportunity to engage in groupwork and prepare and give presentations in order to promote national or international locations from a sustainable tourism perspective. This way, the students will develop their English competences and effective communication skills at an upper intermediate level as well as their team-work abilities.
