So here's the deal with the meeting Wednesday.

Last time we had a meeting at the library, some group had reserved both meeting rooms for when we would use them.  Then something happened (they canceled or something) 2 days before the meeting and I was able to reserve one.  I tried to reserve a room immediately after the last meeting and they were both already checked out.

I was hoping the same thing would happen and they would become available just before we needed them.  That hasn't happened yet.  Maybe it still will.  I will continue to check the library's website to see if we can get our regular schedule.

But what I was able to get was Meeting Room B at the Main Branch of the Siouxland Libraries (https://goo.gl/maps/rU6tgTp16GQoSAZ1A) from 5 to 7.  That is, instead of the regular 6 to 8. So the normal thing, but an hour earlier.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18TH, FROM 5PM TO 7PM,  MEETING ROOM B.

If anyone has any alternative plans, feel free to reply to this email with them.

It is not required or anything, but it would be nice if you reply to this email with whether or not you will be attending.

Remember that the meeting starts at 5 and is over at 7.

See you there.

Adam,

I did a bit more reading and have basically concluded I was way out of
date on the Verizon bootloader situation. I remember digging into it
for the Pixel 3 and am pretty sure I'd found something about unlocking
the bootloader back then with a phone call and a special code you'd
enter into the bootloader. But I can't find the reference now. And
everything more recent I'm seeing now confirms your perspective about
Verizon not unlocking it at all, despite many people wanting it, under
the premise of better service.

Anyway, it was an interesting dive into something that was
particularly frustrating and disappointing to learn about. :)
