can anyone recommend good reliable aspx/mssql hosting providers, I have a
straightforward win cms site

tried netregistry, that turned out to be disaster (and, I'm being kind to
them, frequent timeouts, often downouts, etc)

also, what's a good monitoring site, I'm testing pingdom and monitor.us at
the moment

doesn't need much grant, just want something reliable, that's all

it's pretty basic win asp cms site for a small business, with product
info/some file downloads, on ecommerce;

has around 200MB web files +sql, does around 10gb/m transfer, just want
reliable host, at the present, front page load of 1~2sec on a good day
goes to 15 or even 30 sec, and, several times a month website is
inaccessible for 5 or more minutes at a time.
