welcome back habitat!!!
for you newbies out there, this is the mailer you will get each week updating you on what happened at the meeting, giving reminders, etc.
here's what we went over:
- here's a cool HabiFact: By the year 2030, an additional 3 billion people will need access to housing. WOWZERS!
- do you know a good speaker or anyone that you would like to see speak? let us know - Act! Speak! Build! week is later this semester and we would love suggestions
- are you interested in being in one of the super fun FYE programs? information is available online at www.slu.edu/fye and apps are due the 29th!!!
- all of you runners out there - if you are interested in running as part of Habitat's team for the GO! Saint Louis half/marathon, please contact us and let us know! it is going to be SUPER GREAT!
- each of the committees broke off - remember that there is an advertising, builds, fun-fact-finding, and fundraising committee (they are allllll great)
also, here are a couple of the upcoming events we will be having this semester that are sure to be a blast and a half!
- spring break trips - Act! Speak! Build! week - the habitat dance - a pancake breakfast - restaurant nights -
