I'd like to highlight the displeasure of having too many stray dogs roaming and wandering the street of 6/31 and perhaps on other rows.

After putting our effort together in building up fences and paying the guards, these dogs are nuisance and pose risk of being attack if any of us wanted to jog or kids riding bicycle in the vicinity.

I hope something will be done to get rid of these stray dogs. I am fine with Johnny who already "knows" some of the residences.

In my last count, there are about 5 of these stray dogs and they sometimes sleep or hang out under the cars owned by 6/31 residences.

Regards, Haza

TQ for the feedback Haza.

To put the record straight everyone, Johnny is no longer a stray as the security co. pays a “dog license” on him. That’s why you would notice Johnny wearing a dog collar.

Believe it or not, the stray dogs are maintained/trained by Basri (one of our guards) to sort of protect our area from unwanted guests. It creates a fear for unwanted guests who plans to roam our area especially at night. He sometimes places them at the closed entrance at Jalan 6/32 which we plan to have a fence gate. That entrance is still accessible by foot even though its being closed. Basri was an ex-special branch officer therefore has handled dogs before. Sometimes very late at night, you can see Johnny leading the pack to patrol our area.  So far, I haven’t heard of these stray dogs threatening or giving problems to residences. Probably Mr & Mrs Tang can concur the fact since they usually do their walks at night.

Nevertheless, I’ll have a word with Basri on the matter when he comes back from his paternity leave (his wife just delivered a few days ago). Would ask him to get the stray dogs to hang out elsewhere instead.

Regards

Rizvi
